“Ode to Monet, My Study of the Master”

After seeing Claude Monet’s Houses of Parliament in person a few months ago, I was inspired to do a study of his Sunset version…which is my favorite painting on Earth.  I have been studying his brush strokes and attempted to use paint colors that he had on his palette.  This is my ode to my favorite artist of all time, I hope that I make him proud by my attempt.  I plan to keep this framed in my studio for the rest of my life to keep me motivated to continue pushing myself to trying new things and learning every day.
