Original Oil, 12x16 on Claessens 15 Belgian Linen panel. I felt it was my responsibility to make sure this nostalgic view (that is disappearing) was carried on for generations. My Granddaddy was a sharecropper and most of my early Summer memories were spent around the tobacco fields of Eastern North Carolina. I hope my representation brings back fond memories to others, like it did for me.
